Comrade Ogaga in a press statement released on the official website of the Value Reorientation Initiative has called on the Delta state governor, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa to take action and execute the ruling of the supreme court on the naira redesign policy to ease the burden of cash shortages and suffering of Deltans.
Comrade Ogaga also accused the governor of keeping silent in the face of economic hardship when other governors have been speaking up on the said matter.

Why Sacrifice Governance on the Alter of Politics in Delta State? Why is Gov OKOWA silent on the pronouncement of the Supreme Court on the reintroduction of the old notes while Other Governors are talking to their people?
We have noted with a great sense of awe and displeasure the unusual silence of the Governor of Delta in recent times. While other Governors stood with their people during the cash crunch in North to enforce the ruling of the supreme court ours here was akimbo. In elementary political science we were taught that it’s the executive that executes the law, while the Judiciary interpret the law which is made by the legislative.
We hereby call on the Governor of Delta State Senator Dr Ifeanyi OKOWA to take a stand with the people to enforce the ruling of the supreme court. Address a press conference, and assure the people of Delta state that you are with the people on this, as such we can use the notes in markets. The people are presently confused as CBN and the Presidency have decided to go mum on the issue.
Posterity is watching our actions. Act now and save the people of DELTA STATE needless hardship.
