Anino Benson-Uwheru, a Delta State-born human resources professional, has achieved academic excellence by graduating with distinction as the overall best in MSc International Human Resource Management at the University of Reading, United Kingdom. Her remarkable feat was further recognized with the Henley Business School Prize for the highest weighted average in her program, a milestone celebrated in December 2024.
Anino’s success story reflects her relentless commitment to excellence, a journey characterized by resilience, hard work, and strategic focus. Before embarking on her academic pursuit in the UK, she served as a Human Resource Business Partner (Lead) at United Bank for Africa (UBA), Nigeria, where she played a pivotal role in people management and organizational development.
Anino’s academic background is equally distinguished. She is an alumna of Delta State University, where she laid the foundation for her career, and the University of Lagos, where she earned a Master’s degree in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management.
Her professional qualifications further underscore her dedication to her field. She holds certifications as a Professional in Human Resources – International (PHRi) and Senior Professional in Human Resources – International (SPHRi). She is also a Certified Personnel Manager (CIPM) under the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria and a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), a leading global body for human resources and people development.
